I'm sorry for not posting in a while. I'm sick. Still sick and currently on my bed, with nothing to do. I've been watching movies all day. Then, this had me wondering. What good movies are there to watch? If you are like me sick, or just want to watch good movies, here are a few that I've watched and recommend them to you. Enjoy!

A film made by the one and only Tom Ford. Such a beautiful movie and scenery. Especially the clothes. It is a must watch!  

This movie will drive you to tears. Warrning. 

Any Quentin Tarantino film, I love it! He's a genius.

I found this Lanvin dress on Net-a-Porter, and I loved it because I could see this outfit at night going to a premier party. But, I can also see this outfit during the day working in the city. The dress is diverse and classy. By changing a few accessories and your lip color; you have completely different look! A perfect spring look. 

Luxurious

Tom Ford came out with his special edition retro 50's inspired glasses, and they are beautiful! Made out of real gold- plated metal and water buffalo horn. Want to buy these glasses? They only cost about $3,000. Making these pairs of glasses one of the most high level in design and fabrication. Good job Ford! Anybody have $3,00 they can lend me? It's for a good cause.

This is my first ever polyvore set I made. This is my style, my favorite colors are brown (any shade) and black. I would wear this if I was spending the day with my friends in the city. It's edgy, but not over the top and comfortable.  I like a pop of color, that's why I picked the D&G mint green nail polish. Now only if I can get all of those items in my closet, that would be perfect.  

Milestone

               

I finally dyed my hair! This is the first time I ever done it, so I consider this a milestone in my life. I dyed to sections underneath my hair, so when I put it put into a ponytail you can see three different lines of color. It came out great, but I couldn't get good pictures of the final product. When I do, you'll see it. 

The Weekend - 2

After two days of throwing up from a stomach virus (thank you germs). Today I felt better, and went to my good friend Katie's house to do a photo assignment. I haven't seen her for a while, so it was a great way to catch up. She showed me this outfit she loved, and I liked it! Well, it isn't my style but she pulls it off. Her outfit inspired me to do a photo shoot contrasting soft and hard. Like, the picture of her on the couch. The couch is soft with flowers and light color, while her stockings stick out and look out of place. While my outfit, I just threw on. When the photos of the shoot are developed, I'll post them. We also had a Misfits marathon, so much fun! Tomorrow I'm dyeing my hair, I'll take pictures.

Kony 2012

Recently a video (short film) was released from the Invisible Children (nonprofit organization), it raised awareness about the #1 Worst War Criminal in the world, Joseph Kony. Kony is the leader of the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army) in Uganda, who's been doing evil for more than 20 years. His method to gain soldiers is by abducting children, varies ages, and making them into child soldiers or sex slaves. He has abducted over 30,000 innocent children and traumatized them by doing unimaginable things, like, killing their own parents. These children live in constant fear of being abducted or killed. They go through this as a daily basis. What's even more shocking is Kony does not have an objective, or reason as to why he is doing all of this. The only noticeable one is to keep power. The ICC (International Criminal Court) wants to arrest Kony for many of his humanitarian violations.

However, there is a problem, we can't find him and half of the world doesn't even know who he is, and it's crucial for Kony to be arrested by this year. Because, he might and can advance to different nations and gain momentum. Soon being even harder to find. The U.S have sent 100 troops to Uganda to help find and arrest Joseph Kony.

With the help and serious prompting by the Invisible Children, they have thousands of followers, like me, who want to make a difference in the world. But, we need even more help. To find Kony, we need to make Kony famous. Make him into a celebrity. People need to know who he is. To bring him into our social media attention, we need important people to promote him so others can follow. Like, 12 celebrities and 12 policy makers. On their twitter, you can message them and ask them to make Kony famous. Once they agree, a lot more people will take notice.

This is truly important and life changing to those involved. Just by talking about it you can make a difference. Make Kony famous!

Current Obsessions # 2

I can't stop looking at Isabel Marant collection for the Fall! While most designers go for mature looks, Marant gives the audience a splash a of fun and wildness. When I picture a Marant girl, I can see her being really popular in high school and attending wild parties. This collection makes me want to be that girl! Especially owning those fringe boots. I need a pair now.

Who can not love TopShop. Think of Forever 21, Asos, H&M, and Express had a baby. That's exactly what it, but MUCH better. I  mean look at that gold dress for the fall.

I don't know what it is, but I'm obsess with Sky Ferreira. Her songs are catchy and addicting. I played her single "One" at least 50 times this week. I watched an interview of her and she seems down to earth, which is pretty cool that she is not a snob. Just saying. I love her style and her hair, she can pull anything off. Even if it's pink or bleach blonde. LUCKY.

Staying on the topic of hair, I have decided to dye my hair again. What a shocker! But I don't know what to do. I think I'm going to go for Medium Golden Brown and Light or Light Golden Brown. Currently undecided. I'm sure it will come to me soon.
